She nodded and turned for the file cabinet behind her. She
searched the drawers and opened the third one down, second from
the bottom. She bent down and sifted through the files, shifting
her weight on her legs to air them out as she'd been sitting for
so long and she could feel her knee high dress sticking to her
thighs.
"Duo...Duo...uuuh...hang on I'll find it."

He heaved a sigh and leaned against the wall. "I'm in no hurry,"
he replied. "This payment is due today and you're still here,
so... yeah."

She bit her lip as she searched and then snatched a file out.
"Got it!" She pulled it out, and stood up straight, turned
directly around to face him. "Duo Max...well....um..." she
paused and looked up at him. Her cheeks turned pink and she
looked back down at the file quickly. "Um...yeah, are you making
the payment in full?" she asked, turning to her desk and placing
the file down, opening it and sifting through more papers.

He nodded his head, pushing bangs out of his eyes as he held up
a thick envelope. "Yeah, a double payment," he grinned at her.

She put her hand out for the envelope and nodded. "Great, that
will catch you up until next month." She picked up a pen and
marked off some check marks. She looked back up at him and
smiled. "Too bad, that means one less visit here you'll have to
make."

He gave her a dazzling smile as he handed over the envelope.
"You just wanna see my handsome face," he teased.

Her face paled and her cheeks, a darker pink. She gave him a
giggle and took the envelope from him. She didn't know what to
say. She sifted through the money and counted it quickly, then
marked the amount down on her paper. She cleared her throat and
tucked the money into a safe and then turned her back to Duo,
and bent back over to refile the folder.
"Well...it's a pleasure to have you in, rather than some others.
At least you're on time most of the time." She told him, her
face buried in trying to find the right place.

"I'm sure it's on there.... Somewhere," he sounded a bit
worried. "I know I'm late a lot, but I'm good for it.
Obviously." He ran a hand through his bangs nervously.

She gave another awkward giggle and found the placeholder for
his file and then stood back up, straightening her dress around
her hips. "You're good for it this time. And you're all good to
go." She turned around and smiled at him. "We appreciate you
being on time, either way."

He grinned again, nodding. "Sounds good," he replied, turning
around only to see his truck getting towed. "OH F*CK!!" he
exclaimed, running out in a panic. Through the glass she could
see him waving his hands around and obviously yelling at the
driver of the tow truck.
This went on for a few minutes before the driver got into his
truck and drove off. Duo groaned and smacked his face with his
hands.
