He nodded and touched the button for the elevator. "Not a

She nodded as the doors opened and they walked in. Hitting the
main floor button, she looked up at him as she let her hair
down; it tumbled to the beginning of the curve of her butt. "Did
you wait here for me all day?" She asked curiously.

He shook his head. "Just the last hour. I went and ate lunch
earlier." he leaned back on the railing. "Was nice and quiet."
he mused slightly.

Amilia tucked hair behind her ear. "I wish I could say my lunch
was nice and quiet," she chuckled. "Instead I had to skip eating
altogether because someone mistakenly served one of the other
colony delegates a food allergen. Had a huge scene to deal with,
paramedics were called even. Luckily they had their epipen." She
shook her head with a deep sigh.

"Mmm...that's no good." he nodded. The elevator doors opened and
he reached forward to hold the door open.

Her cheeks pinked slightly as she thanked him and went through.
"So, what do you drive?" She asked as they headed out of the
building.

"Just an old SUV." he said, leading her out of the building and
down the steps to the valet. A big black Cadillac sat out front,
the passenger door held open for Ami. Inside was polished black
heated leather seats and a wood veneer finish around the
dashboard. A 7" navigation screen was mounted into the dash and
the whole truck was cleaned, pristine. He stopped at her side
and took over holding the door, palming an unknown sized bill
into the valet's hand. But it must have been something special
as his eyes lit up when he walked away. "Here you go."

Her eyes widened as she took in the sight of it; the subtle
flashiness that was obviously cared for with great pride. "Wow,"
she blurted, then covered her mouth in embarrassment. "Sorry."

"Hm." he grinned. "Hop in." he told her, paying no mind to her
reaction. He didn't really care that he even drove around this
big thing, it was just another piece of metal on four wheels. He
got her tucked up into the truck and walked around, getting in
on his side. He closed the door, pulled his seat belt on and
turned his radio up just within a good volume, with some soft
jazz music.

She buckled herself and smoothed her hair back. "It's really
nice," she said, looking over at him. "It's big. I like that,
feels safe." She ran her fingers over the interior console.
