Heero brushed his hand over his hair as he got through security
checks and started down the hallway to the elevators. He pushed
the button and stood back, waiting for the doors to open.
Once they slid open, Heero stepped inside and rode it down to
the floor where Amilia had taken him before. The doors slid open
and he stepped out cautiously, making sure it was the right
floor and as soon as he recognized the area, he made a mental
check and then walked toward the kitchens area.
Slowly he walked through the door, looking around her her
familiar face, searching the room for some sign of her.

Amilia was in the back of the kitchen, just slightly beyond his
peripherals. She hummed as she chopped the fresh ingredients,
sweeping them into containers when she was finished.

Heero continued looking, passing by one of the others who worked
there. "I'm looking for Amilia...is she here today?" he asked,
looking only slightly at the man for a moment before continuing
to scan the area. The man nodded and pointed to an area behind a
large set of shelving. Heero nodded a thanks to him and moved
through the kitchen carefully.

Amilia put the containers in the walk-in fridge just as Heero
was walking towards her. She didn't notice him, though. As she
came out, she yawned and stretched before running right into
him. "Oh!" she gasped.

Heero gripped her shoulders as she bumped into him and he gave a
very slight chuckle and then looked down at her. "Hello." he
said simply.

She blushed with a half-chuckle. "Hi again," she greeted. "Sorry
about running into you."

He pulled his hands away and shook his head. "My fault, I could
have given you better warning." his cheeks were slightly pink.

"How about we both acknowledge each other's apology and call it
even?" She suggested with a smile. She briefly wondered why he
was here when Relena wasn't.

He nodded agreement and stepped to the side. "Look, I know this
is a bit off that I'm here. But I wondered if you wanted
to...meet up, for...lunch or something."

Amilia stared at him for a moment. "Really? Uh, sure, yes, yes
I'd love to," she stammered, a little flustered. She couldn't
believe he was asking her out to lunch! But then again, maybe it
was for a favor for Relena...
