Heero checked his watch and looked at his beer.
"I suppose I could. I'm working in the morning though, so not
too late." he answered, taking a rather large drink of his beer.
"Where to?"

"Just come over to my place," he replied, happy that Heero had
agreed to come over. "We can just relax. I'm close enough that
if you need to crash, you'll still be good to go work in the
morning."
He turned his TV on and started to flip through channels.

He tucked his phone between his ear and his shoulder and
searched for his keys in his pants pockets.
"Alright, give me about ten minutes." he told him, setting his
beer on the table nearby and heading back inside after he found
his keys.

"Sure, see ya soon pal!" He said his goodbyes and then hung up,
relaxing back into the couch. Between Heero having guard duty
and being with Relena, Duo didn't get a chance to see his best
friend.

Heero was knocking on Duo's door about ten minutes later, and
popped the door open, stepping inside.
"Got anymore beer?" he asked, shutting the door behind him, and
tossing his keys down on the counter nearby.

"And there's more in the fridge."

He nodded and headed over grabbing a beer from the freezer and
going to sit near Duo. He popped the top and took a long heavy
drink from the bottle.
"Relena is gonna kill me with these watch guard jobs..." he
grumbled, taking another drink.

"Its gotta be rough," he said sympathetically. "I get that she's
the Vice Foreign Minister, so you would think that she would
hire more security..." He took a drink, shaking his head. "Do
you two even have dates anymore?"

He shrugged.
"We didn't really date to start with. A couple here, a couple
there." Another long swig of his beer and he slouched back in
the chair. "There was this cute little thing today, serves the
food down at the embassy...Amilia Feightling is her name. Lucky
for me she showed up when she did..." He droned on through half
of that statement and seemed to muse at her name. A weird thing
for Heero to do.

Duo turned his head slowly to stare at his usually stoic,
serious friend. "Amilia Feightling huh...." He said slowly,
taking another drink of his beer. "You seem taken."
He wanted to suddenly brag about his impromptu "date" with the
account manager Michelle Heywright, but he also wanted Heero to
spill the tea about this girl.
