Heero watched her and just as the doors started closing, he
grumbled and moved swiftly to the elevator doors, pushing his
right arm through just as they were almost completely closed. He
pushed them back and the doors opened on their own the rest of
the way. He cleared his throat and pulled his ear piece out.
"I guess I could use something to eat..."

Ami's eyes widened in surprise, the man was ridiculously fast,
and had crossed almost the entire hallway in a matter of
seconds. She smiled once he got in, and the doors closed behind
him.
"Great," she responded cheerfully.

He leaned back against the wall of the elevator and kept his
gaze low. Hopefully, this didn't take too long, he didn't want
to be caught away from his post. However, this meeting could
last for hours more and he knew he couldn't go without eating
all day.

The elevator ride down was in silence, and just a bit
uncomfortable. When it stopped and the doors opened, Ami started
walking into the kitchens.
"Do you have any allergies?" she asked him.

He shook his head and followed closely behind her.
"Anything is fine..." he mumbled, his eyes straight ahead.

"Okay...." She felt offput that he hadn't met her eyes yet. She
tried to push the feeling aside as she went over to the stoves
and started to put him a plate together. Finishing, she set the
plate down for him at a small table. It was a seasoned chicken
thigh with a creamy lemon garlic sauce, sauteed green beans, and
mashed potatoes with a buttered roll.

He sat down at the table and when she brought him the plate, he
looked up at her and gave her a slight smile.
"Thanks." he spoke, grazing her hand by accident as he grabbed
the plate at nearly the same time as she placed it before him.
"Looks good."

"You're welcome, I hope you enjoy," she said softly. Her skin
tingled where he brushed against her, and she felt her stomach
flip slightly. She grabbed them a couple waters and set his down
as she took a drink of hers.

He started eating and sipped his water. At one point he looked
up at the woman and paused for a moment, and then went back to
his food.
"Amilia, was it?"

She looked back at him and nodded, "Yes, but you can call me Ami
if you want. Everyone else does."
