Jackson looked between them and sighed a bit sadly.
“Oh...well, I can understand that, no worries.” He smiled and
then turned his head sharply when Avery started coughing
violently and dropped a can of vegetables. “Avery.” He spoke,
not much surprise, but quickly went to her side and held her up.
He looked over at the pair and smiled. “I should get her back
home, it’s a bit of a walk and if I don’t get her home, we will
be in the hospital again for three more days. Sorry again if we
bothered you.” He turned and started to hobble off with Avery
wrapped in his hold.

Asha gave Haka a pointed look and elbowed him in the ribs
sharply.
"What?!" He hissed quietly. She gestured to them.
"They walked here and she's sick, go offer them a ride!" She
said sternly. "It will be awhile since the cashier will have to
ring this up and then get the pallets together."
"Alright, alright," he muttered, knowing that his cousin was
right. She was so much like their grandfather. He pulled the
keys from his pocket and swiftly caught up to the twins.
"Hey," he said a bit roughly. "Let me give you two a ride home.
It's probably best for her and all.."

Jackson stopped and looked at Haka, surprised.
“Really? I really appreciate that...” he smiled slightly,
adjusting Avery against him. “I need to get her sat down though
so she can take her inhaler.”

Haka nodded as Jackson got her to a bench, and waited.

Jackson wobbled to a bench with her, got her sat down and dug in
her pockets before he finally found her inhaler. He was finally
able to administer it to her and she slowly caught her breath
again. He was able to put her inhaler back in her pocket and
helped her to Haka’s truck. She was breathing better now, but
Jackson looked flustered as he started digging through his own
pocket dramatically.
“Wait here...I dropped my keys somewhere.” He told Avery and
jogged slowly back to the store.

Haka watched him then leaned back in his seat. Since it was an
older model, there was only front seats, and Avery was in the
middle seat.

“Thanks for the ride...” she murmured, adjusting slightly as she
was right up next to him.

"You're welcome. You shouldn't have to walk," he replied back,
closing his eyes as they waited.

“Well, we don’t have any other way around right now. Mom’s car
is broken down.” She took a deep breath and tried to settle in.
She closed her own eyes, and rested.

"What's wrong with it?" He asked.
