Jackson got up from his seat and stuck his hands in his pockets.
He nodded in the other guy's direction.
"I'll let you get back to him. I gotta spend these quarters
before I get back home." He smiled slightly and started to turn
       back towards the machines.

"Alright, bye," Asha said before turning back to Haka with a
glare. The two started bickering in hushed tones, people unable
to eavesdrop because of the language, and started to leave.

Jackson stopped and watched them for a moment before turning to
the concession counter and grabbing a pen and napkin. He
scribbled his number on the napkin and ran out after them.
"Hey!" he called out after her.

Haka groaned but got in the truck, started it up with a loud
growl of the engine. Asha stopped, turning back to Jackson.
       "Yeah?" She asked.

He jogged to a stop and held out the napkin.
"Call me if you ever wanna hang out or just talk or something."
He gently took her hand and folded the napkin into her palm.
       "I'm usually always available."

She stared at him then at the napkin. "Thanks...." She murmured,
keeping hold of it. "See ya." She gave him a little smile then
       climbed into the truck.

He nodded and stepped back, feeling really stupid. He started
thinking it wasn't a good idea. He knew he just met her, why
would she want his number? He sighed heavily and turned back to
the building and went inside for the rest of his things and then
       started home.

Asha looked out the window as Haka drove them back home.
"That number is useless," he muttered. "We don't even have a
       phone." She rolled her eyes.
       "Oh shut up," she grumbled.

Jackson made his way back home and headed for his room, dropping
his things off and then headed to Avery's room.
"Ave, how are you feeling?" he asked her. Avery sat up on her
bed and moved her legs over the side.
"Tired, but I'm alright. Meds finally kicked in about twenty
       minutes ago."
"Cool. Glad you're feeling better. Maybe you could go to the
arcade with me tomorrow." Jackson leaned against the door frame
       and smiled.
       "Maybe, but after tutoring."

As they got back onto the reservation, Asha jumped out and
stretched. After a moment, their grandfather walked out, his
       white hair in low pigtails.
"Asha, Honiahaka, we're having drum circle tonight. Asha, Neha
has asked for you to dance with her tonight," he said. Asha
looked at her cousin then back to their grandfather.
"Of course I will, grandfather," she replied. "I'll go get my
ceremonial dress." She walked inside, and their grandfather
       turned to Haka.
"You look troubled grandson." Haka internally groaned. He hated
how observant his grandfather was at times.
"There was a guy at the arcade," he muttered. "A white boy."
       Grandfather sighed, crossing his arms.
"Not all white men are bad," he said firmly. "The one who killed
your parents was filled with evil and rage. You cannot base all
of them off of one incident."
