Avery blushed a little and looked at Jackson, who raised a brow.
He smirked and nodded.
"Well nice to meet you Nick. I'm Avery's twin, Jackson. You two
having a nice time?" he asked, pulling himself further onto her
bed. He looked back at Avery who was looking over at the man and
smiling. Their mother nudged him.

"As nice a time as we can both have, what with having
potentially fatal diseases. I wouldn't mind dying if it happened
now, considering the lovely view," he chuckled, adjusting his
bed.

Jackson rolled his eyes and looked at Avery. Their mom laughed
and turned back to Avery.
"So when are they moving you upstairs?" She asked. Avery turned
her head back.
"They said as soon as you were back." At that moment Jackson
looked up at Nik and smirked.

Nikolas looked over to Avery. "Hey, that's great! Means you get
a better bed and actual good," he chuckled, glancing at Jackson.

Avery's attention was dragged back over again and she giggled.
"Hospital food is still hospital food." She wrinkled her nose
and looked over to the door as it swung open and her nurse
walked in.
"Good, you're all here."
"I told them already." Avery interrupted. The nurse paused and
smiled.
"Cool, well I just need to go over what we're gonna do and we'll
get you all set up, upstairs." She smiled brightly and shuffled
through some papers on her clipboard.

"I dunno, the grilled cheese here is pretty bomb," he smiled and
leaned back, closing his eyes.

Avery shook her head and turned her attention to the nurse. They
spoke for a few minutes and then her mother and the nurse walked
out into the hallway, her mom going for something to eat.
Jackson stood up and looked at Nik, even with his eyes closed.
"I won't be gone long..." he told him, walking out after his
mother. He looked back at Avery and gave her a pointed look. She
rolled her eyes again and grabbed the remote next to her,
turning on the tele.

She smiled a little as she looked over at him. "He's really not,
so I don't know what this is about." She yawned and turned onto
her side facing him.
