He turned the corner to a little shop and had to stop. "You
know...that's exactly why I'm here. My family and I...we moved
from up north to Tokyo all because my father got some kind of
job some years back. They wanted me to go to university and do a
bunch of things like my father." He looked down at the ground.
"I came down here, away from Tokyo, to get away from him."

He was still for a moment as her hand touched his, and then he
sighed heavily. "We shouldn't have to be forced into traditions.
How does that make feel work things out for themselves?!" He
pulled his hand away and ran his fingers through his hair. "We
are right here..." he mumbled, looking back at her with a slight
smile. "Come on, I'm starving." He voted.
