then quickly back down, her face flushing a bit at him standing

She chuckled. "I don't have a social life, but I assure you it's
not because I'm here. All of my social life moved away after we
graduated high school." She looked up and smiled at him
slightly. "It doesn't bother me. I like being here."

She put her pen down and sighed. "Tadashi...when it comes to me,
you should know that I love keeping myself busy. It's better
than hanging out at home with my dad all day long. If I didn't
work, I would be doing just that. It's better than I'm here. Now
if you wanna take me out and get me out, you're welcome to, but
I doubt that it's something you really care to do." She smiled
again and then picked her pen back up and went back to work.
