Jared snapped his attention back to her on the phone as he put
his phone in his pocket.
"From the base?! Amaya...does he know how old you are?"
Jared bit his lip and leaned into her sights.

straight and turned around, heading away again. "It's just
ramen."
Jake audibly sighed through the phone and rubbed his eyes.
"Amaya...go eat and then come home..." he told her, defeated.

beside her. He ordered a ramen bowl and then turned toward her.

He chuckled again. He paid for their order and began eating
after their food was set before them. He was pretty sloppy with
the chopsticks they'd given him, but he was trying his best.
Once he finally got a bit into his mouth he groaned. Finishing
his bite, he looked over. "This is really good." he grinned.
"So...are you an only child? He seems pretty protective, and
back home that kind of behavior is usually from single child
parents." He tried to get another bite.
