She smiled slightly and started rearranging things on her desk.
After class, she gathered her stuff up and handed him a piece of
paper with her cell phone number on it. "Give me a call if you
can't make it or anything."

Hotaru came back home after training at the dojo and went
upstairs. After showering and getting dressed, she noticed her
sister wasn't anywhere. Frowning, she went downstairs to where
her dad was.
"Dad, where's Sophie?" She asked casually as she grabbed herself
a bottle of water.

Taibou looked up at her. "I don't know...she left sometime ago,
I tried texting her but she's not talking to me." He wiped his
face in exhaustion and picked his fork up from the table and
continued eating his lunch.

He shook his head. "She wants to play her violin, which I
support that, but if she won't help the guild, there isn't a
place for her here. It's her path to follow, I just hoped her
family bond would be stronger." He took another bite and wiped
his mouth on a napkin. "Toby and I have been talking about it,
and we just don't have room for anyone who won't be a part of
what we've been doing here."
