Here's to the Third Generation - Tsutomu and Kaoru Chaos

Thirty eight years ago...
Two families lived in a small little town. The Tsutomu's had
owned their area of land for generations, passing it to the
oldest son of the family for as long as the house had stood.
When the Kaoru family moved in down the street, two families
merged together and formed a familial bond that not many other
families could form. From that point on, new families became
part of their bond. There are many people involved in the
evolution to this family and as the family grows, we learn more
about each new personality through this story.

Kyone sat at the dining room table, her long black hair rolled
up into loose bun. Kyra came in and plopped into the seat next
to her. "Good morning." Kyone grinned, looking over from her
breakfast. Kyra smiled.
"You remember that boy I was telling you about?" she asked.
Kyone nodded, taking a bit of her food. "Well, he's moving back.
His dad got stationed over here again and it's a permanent
position."
"Aww, my little sis is gonna have a cute little crush!" Kyone
teased. Calista walked in then and smiled at them both.
"You girls got everything you'll need for the day?" Kyra nodded
and Kyone picked up her bag and showed her mother. "Good, Kyone
you're taking Kyra to school this morning. You're father has a
meeting at work and I have to take care of a few things in town.
So Kyra is going to ride with you." Kyone nodded and finished up
her food.

"Ryu, slow down before you choke yourself!" Aiyume scolded her
son. Ryu looked up from where he was shoveling rice into his
mouth. He gulped it down and grinned.
"Sorry Mama, I'm just in a hurry. I wanna get to school and
watch all the la--err, watch my friends arrive," he flashed her
an innocent look, but she scowled nonetheless. His twin Kohaku
snickered from where he sat at his father's side.
"I'll keep an eye on him," he piped up. Their mother rolled her
eyes and shook her head. "Just like your father..."

Kyone got up and took her plate to the kitchen, rinsing it and
stacking it neatly. She adjusted her tunic and double checked
for any loose food that may have spilled. When she was clear she
walked back out. "You got five minutes, sis." She told Kyra and
headed back to her room, passing her father on the way. "Morning
daddy." she greeted, taking her phone out and texting a friend
of hers.

"Morning dear," her father replied, reading his paper.
The boys finished their food then headed out to their car to get
to school.

Souji walked in and kissed Aiyume's cheek. "I'll be back this
afternoon. Guild meeting this morning. Love you."
Kyone waited the five minutes and then came back out. "Come on
Kyra." she told her sister, grabbing her bag and heading out to
her car. Kyra got up and grabbed her things then followed.
"Bye mom, bye daddy." she called out following her older sister.

Aiyume nodded and took a quick kiss before he left.
Shinta said goodbye to his daughters as he finished his coffee.
After about fifteen minutes, Kohaku and Ryu arrived at school
after parking in a garage. They walked onto the grounds and went
to their usual spots under one of the trees.

Kyone dropped Kyra off at school and then headed to her own
building. As she was walking to the doors, she passed the same
boys near the tree and glanced at them, blushed and continued
on.
"Kyo!" a spritely red head called out after her. Kyone stopped
and turned around.
"Hey Vi!" she smiled.

Ryu smirked and lifted his chin at the girl as she passed, then
leaned over and whispered into Kohaku's ear. He chuckled and
nodded, watching the other girl.

Vienna ran up and handed Kyone a notebook. "Thanks for letting
me borrow these. You're a life saver." she grinned.
"No problem. Wanna walk with me to class?" she asked, shifting
her gaze to the boys and smiling as she turned and started back.
Vienna looked over, seeing her glance and bit her lip.
"Do you know those boys?" she asked, skipping a few steps to
catch up. Kyone looked over at her friend.
"Those are the Mananagi twins. Not exactly the greatest
company." she turned her head back slightly and looked at them
again. "But...I've had a crush on Ryu for quite a long time."
