I don't wanna live forever
Inspired by Zane and Sayaka (and Zeke)
Been sitting eyes wide open behind these four walls, hoping
you'd call
It's just a cruel existence like there's no point hoping at
all...
Doors slamming, and she's crying.
Zane's heart is broken and Saya can only say she's
sorry.
Baby, baby, I feel crazy, up all night, all night and every day
Give me something, oh, but you say nothing
What is happening to me?
He's sitting in the corner of an empty room.
Phone twisting in his hand.
His head is hung and his heart is broken.
I don't wanna live forever, 'cause I know I'll be living in vain
And I don't wanna fit wherever
I just wanna keep calling your name until you come back home
I just wanna keep calling your name until you come back home
I just wanna keep calling your name until you come back home
He's throwing his phone across the room and punching at
the walls.
He's crying and tearing at his clothes.
He's broken down and he's forever changed from the man he used
to be.
I'm sitting eyes wide open and I got one thing stuck in my mind
Wondering if I dodged a bullet or just lost the love of my life,
oh
She curled into her self, eyes red, heart barely beating.
She can't reach him, she can't talk to him.
She's lost without him.
Baby, baby, I feel crazy
Up all night, all night and every day
I gave you something, but you gave me nothing
What is happening to me?
The sun rises and sets, and she doesn't sleep a single
moment.
She's tired but he's all she can think about.
I don't wanna live forever, 'cause I know I'll be living in vain
And I don't wanna fit (fit, babe) wherever (wherever)
I just wanna keep calling your name until you come back home
I just wanna keep calling your name until you come back home
I just wanna keep calling your name until you come back home
Zeke is there holding her and trying to console her.
She's turning away from his every touch, unable to return any of
his affections.
She's running out the door and crying as she's trying to call
Zane.
I've been looking sad in all the nicest places
Baby, baby, I feel crazy
I see you around in all these empty faces
Up all night, all night and every day
She's sending him text after text, just trying to reach
him.
Her eyes are swollen from her tears.
I've been looking sad in all the nicest places
Give me something, oh, but you say nothing
Now I'm in a cab, I tell 'em where your place is
What is happening to me?
He's standing in front of her door, only thinking of
knocking.
He can't live without her...He turns away from the door and then
back again.
He starts to leave and then runs back to the door.
I don't wanna live forever, 'cause I know I'll be living in vain
And I don't wanna fit wherever
He's pounding on her door, a shadow on the wood grain.
His eyes are filled with tears...
I just wanna keep calling your name until you come back home
I just wanna keep calling your name until you come back home
I just wanna keep calling your name until you come back home
I just wanna keep calling your name until you come back home
I just wanna keep calling your name until you come back home
The door opens...she's standing there in misery...they
both smile and he embraces her.

"Just Give Me A Reason"
Josh and Yume
Right from the start
You were a thief
You stole my heart
And I your willing victim
I let you see the parts of me
That weren't all that pretty
And with every touch you fixed them
When Yume fell in love with Josh, it happened fast and hard. She
realized it one night when they were watching a movie at his
parents' house; they were cuddling on the couch and his parents
were making dinner, giggling and acting like a couple teenagers.
She remembered hoping that she and him would still be like they
were when they got older, and nothing like either sets of her
parents. Her father and mother had had an affair, and she was
the product of that affair. This had been a huge strain on both
marriages, and the repercussions were severe. Especially for
Yume. She fell into a deep depression that included
self-harming.. and Josh had been nothing but perfect, accepting
who she was and trying to help her feel better.
Now you've been talking in your sleep, oh, oh
Things you never say to me, oh, oh
Tell me that you've had enough
Of our love, our love
But since she had come to his school in Europe to visit, Josh
had been acting funny... he seemed distant, and nervous. His
phone would go off multiple times, and he would ignore it. She
would get this sick, twisty pit in her stomach.. and then one
night while she was visiting him in Germany, he had mumbled a
name after falling asleep. And then her mind was filled with
dark, sad thoughts. Thoughts she couldn't control, thoughts that
started to push her away from him and closer to self-harm.
Just give me a reason
Just a little bit's enough
Just a second we're not broken just bent
And we can learn to love again
It's in the stars
It's been written in the scars on our hearts
We're not broken just bent
And we can learn to love again
The more she watched him, the more panicked she grew. It was
making her sick, and she tried to stay in control. But she
started pinching and scratching herself in a desperate attempt
to keep herself from using the razorblade.
I'm sorry I don't understand
Where all of this is coming from
I thought that we were fine
(Oh, we had everything)
Your head is running wild again
My dear we still have everythin'
And it's all in your mind
(Yeah, but this is happenin')
Josh had noticed Yume's shift in moods, and it made him nervous.
There was no reason for her to suspect anything, let alone even
know what had happened. He easily played off the phone calls and
texts that were blowing up his phone as his friends, or wrong
numbers. He tried to stay close to her and act as normal as
possible, but he was anxious, and the girl wouldn't stop.
You've been havin' real bad dreams, oh, oh
You used to lie so close to me, oh, oh
There's nothing more than empty sheets
Between our love, our love
Oh, our love, our love
It escalated one night to grand crescendo of screams, tears, and
a locked bathroom door. Yume sat on the tiled floor behind that
door, sobbing brokenly, and trying to ignore her boyfriend
pounding on the door and begging her to open up. That he was
sorry and they would be okay. It had just been a mistake.
Just give me a reason
Just a little bit's enough
Just a second we're not broken just bent
And we can learn to love again
I never stopped
You're still written in the scars on my heart
You're not broken just bent
And we can learn to love again
He wasn't going to stop. He had to get through to Yume, he just
had to. He was afraid of her doing something, but even more
terrified that this would be the end of his only meaningful
relationship. After a few moments, Yume's crying had ceased to
whimpers. Something in his gut tightened.
"Yume??" he called out, palms flat against the wood of the door.
He got no reply and his panic increased tenfold. He grabbed the
doorknob and jiggled it. "Yume!!" he shouted now. "Yume baby,
please!!" Again, no answer. Without a second thought, he pulled
back and back up a bit, then ran at the door, slamming his
shoulder into it. There was a sharp pain, but he ignored it.
Oh, tear ducts and rust
I'll fix it for us
We're collecting dust
But our love's enough
You're holding it in
You're pouring a drink
No nothing is as bad as it seems
We'll come clean
Twice more, he did this, and on the final one, the door broke
from the frame and he stumbled in. Yume was leaned back against
the wall, pale in color, and her arms lay at her side. She had
slit her wrists, and now she was covered in blood, the crimson
liquid rapidly soaking her clothing.
"YUME NO!!" He screamed, tears starting in his eyes. He dropped
to his knees, grabbing a hand towel, and pulled her wrists
closer together. He pressed the towel to them and held them
there firmly, trying to stop the flow of blood. "Oh god, Yume,
Yume please don't die!" He sobbed, fishing his phone out of his
pocket with his free hand. He dialed emergency, yelling at them
what had happened and giving them directions.
Just give me a reason
Just a little bit's enough
Just a second we're not broken just bent
And we can learn to love again
It's in the stars
It's been written in the scars on our hearts
That we're not broken just bent
And we can learn to love again
Luckily for the both of them, the EMTs had arrived in time. They
quickly stopped her from losing anymore blood, and got her to
the hospital where they started giving her blood transfusions,
and stitched her wrists up. Unfortunately for him, he had to
call her step-father, Hiromasa. And he had shown up in a furious
rage. He nearly punched the poor kid upon arrival, but instead
kept his anger controlled and barred him from seeing Yume ever
again. Once Yume was able to be released, the two of them flew
back to Japan, and Josh was left alone and broken.
Just give me a reason
Just a little bit's enough
Just a second we're not broken just bent
And we can learn to love again
It's in the stars
It's been written in the scars on our hearts
That we're not broken just bent
And we can learn to love again
As time passed, Yume went to therapy and was placed on
medication. She was even pulled from school so that she could
focus on her mental health. Months went by, and she didn't hear
from Josh, which only made her worse. Unbeknownst to her, Josh
had written a long letter to her, several pages in fact; it
detailed how sorry he was, and that he missed her, worrying for
her health. He promised if she were to give him another chance,
that he would have them fall in love again, and he would fix
their broken relationship. A tiny flame of hope sparked inside
her, and she begged her parents relentlessly to allow the
teenagers to reunite again.
It took time, but eventually, her parents agreed. However, they
would tag along to their dates as a means of chaperoning until
the two kids could be trusted alone again. Josh paced in the
park nervously, waiting for Yume and her mother to show up.
After ten minutes, Satsuki walked up with Yume. He stopped in
his tracks and stared at her a moment before starting to walk
over quickly. Yume saw him and immediately broke into a run,
which caused him to bolt towards her as well. As she reached
him, he threw his arms around her, crushing her to his chest in
a tight hug. She clung to him, tears falling down her cheeks as
she burst into tears. He squeezed his eyes shut against his own
tears and buried his face in her hair.
"I've got you..." he whispered. "It's going to be okay..."
Oh, we can learn to love again
Oh, we can learn to love again
Oh, oh, that we're not broken just bent
And we can learn to love again

"Guilty"
Shinta and Calista's Break Up
Seven in the morning and I'm lying in my bed
A million ways to hurt you running round and round my head
I won't feel guilty for that
I won't feel guilty for that
no no no
She stood there, marks on her neck, and a look of false
innocence on her face.
He knew what she had done, it was obvious to see the guilt on
her face.
He balled his fists and stared hard at her.
Everything about you that was good is now erased
Only remnants of you is that aweful bitter taste
I won't feel guilty for that
I won't feel guilty for that
no no no
He charged out the door, anger building up inside him.
She chased after him, begging him not to leave.
The valley seemed even more deserted now as that car pulled up
to the house.
Give me one good reason
why I should not be thinking of leaving you now
maybe I'm just foolish but I can finally see your true color now
You're blacker than black
You're colder than ice
and I don't know who you are
You're blacker than black
You're colder than ice
and I don't know who you are
The evil stepped out of the car and looked between them
both.
She watched the exchange between them both, fearing the outcome.
He stared, coldly at the man, unable to move at first.
He wanted to leave. He wanted to get away.
He couldn't bear the sight of either them.
But he couldn't just walk away without his turn...

All I know is I don't feel it anymore
I don't need to try cuz I don't need you anymore
need you anymore
A wind blew in, the three of them locked into a moment of
total disgrace.
He felt his blood pulsing through him.
She started shaking...
Give me one good reason
why I should not be thinking of leaving you now
maybe I'm just foolish but I can finally see your true colors
now
You're blacker than black
You're colder than ice
and I don't know who you are
As the fight broke out, she jumped in to stop them.
They weren't breaking the hold they had.
They weren't relenting even a little.
The evil had a hit that landed across her face.
He roared a great sound as he landed several punches and brought
the evil to it's knees.
You're blacker than black
You're colder than ice
and I don't know who you are
He left that moment without another word, and would
disappear from her sight for sometime.
Only leaving a broken shell of a man in himself, and a wound
pride in her.
blacker than black (blacker than black)
colder than ice (colder than ice)
and I don't know who you are
She cried and raged those days after, hailing a foolish
wind in her path
and attempting to destroy everything of her life that remained.

blacker than black (blacker than black)
colder than ice (colder than ice)
and I don't know who you are

"What Hurts the Most"
Takido and Maela's Break-up
I can take the rain on the roof of this empty house
That don't bother me
I can take a few tears now and then and just let 'em out
I'm not afraid to cry every once in a while
Even though goin' on with you gone still upsets me
There are days every now and again I pretend I'm okay
But that's not what gets me
Maela and Takido had never been a happier or cuter
couple.
But Maela's baby was not his, in fact, the product of something
far more evil.
They fought for months about it, and Takido would not let up.
He would not father this child.
What hurts the most was being so close
And havin' so much to say
And watchin' you walk away
And never knowin' what could've been
And not seein' that lovin' you
Is what I was trying to do
They used to be everything anyone ever wanted in a
relationship.
They used to hold hands and they were never afraid to show the
world their love.
They were always together and no one separated them.
It's hard to deal with the pain of losin' you everywhere I go
But I'm doing it
It's hard to force that smile when I see our old friends and I'm
alone
Still harder gettin' up, gettin' dressed, livin' with this
regret
But I know if I could do it over
I would trade, give away all the words that I saved in my heart
That I left unspoken
But his accident put him in a place she no longer
understood.
They were already in disagreement over the baby,
and now he had to recover everything he knew about her.
She couldn't handle the stress of it all.
What hurts the most was being so close
And havin' so much to say
And watchin' you walk away
And never knowin' what could've been
And not seein' that lovin' you
Is what I was trying to do, oh
The day they stopped, was the day the world stopped.
Maela's heart was so broken, trying to be a supportive person
and failing.
Takido couldn't tell her why he was hurting, he couldn't
understand it for himself.
It got the best of them both and Maela finally walked away.
Takido left, breaking to pieces there on that sidewalk.
What hurts the most was being so close
And havin' so much to say
And watchin' you walk away
And never knowin' what could've been
And not seein' that lovin' you
Is what I was trying to do
Maela cried for days, unable to grasp the reality.
Takido stopped seeing his doctor.
They both broke the mold, and there was nothing left to hold
them up.
Maela took her things and made a break for it in the middle of
the night.
And that's when Takido got the phone call...Maela had given up,
and run away.
That's what I was trying to do, ooh
