She hesitated then took the last two shots, back to back. With a
deep breath she sighed, "They were drug addicts."

about you being an alcoholic? Or do you just not enjoy my

She met his silver-blue eyes. "Talking about this kind of stuff
is hard for me. Plus I just like shots. Let's go dance," she
suggested, standing up and taking his hand.

He nodded. "Alright."
An hour later, most of the main party event had finished up and
now it was just about everyone conversing and meeting others.
Michelle was sipping a cocktail, waiting for Duo to return from
the restroom.

Duo came out, bangs falling into his eyes. He went back to
Michelle's side and smiled. "This has been fun," he said. "We
should do it again. But first, you hungry?"

going to text Ami though first and see where she is. See if she
needs rescuing." She pulled out her phone and sent the text
asking Ami these questions.
