He led her inside, and found a small booth for them to sit. The
view from their booth was the best, they could see the dance
floor, the bar and the DJ booth. He allowed her to take a seat
first and then followed her into the booth. "This is definitely
more my style." he smiled.

chuckled and crossed her legs, smoothing her dress over her

A waitress came over with a couple glasses of water and a bowl
of chips and nacho cheese. "Can I get you a drink or anything?"
she asked with a smile. Heero looked up at her and then to Ami.
"Want anything?"

"Can I get a few shots of Jameson?" she fished a hair tie out of
her clutch and put her hair up in a messy bun.

Heero looked surprised and grinned. "I'll get a whiskey on the
rocks." The woman smiled at them and nodded before walking away
to get their drinks. Heero then turned to Ami, all of his
attention being given to her. "What do you do when you're not
being set up on blind dates?"

"I work at a law firm as a secretary," she replied, leaning
back. "And when I'm not working, I'm binging on Netflix with my
cats."

"Law firm? Sounds like an interesting job. But cats? I'm not

He continued to laugh as the waitress returned with their
drinks. He thanked her and took a heavy drink of his. "What
about family?"
