Michelle was startled as he touched, but she turned around and
smiled, her face turning beet red. "Duo!" she greeted. "Thank
you, you look very handsome yourself." She turned to Ami. "This
is my best friend, Ami, this is Duo." She looked around at the
bar guests again. "Where is your friend?"
Heero became distracted from the tv by the conversation next to
him, he turned on his stool and watched the conversation for a
few moments until he was asked for. He then stood up and stepped
over. "That would be me." he smiled slightly.

"It's nice to meet you both," Ami murmured with a smile. Her
eyes lingered on Heero, studying the man, before she looked at
Duo and gave him a polite nod.
"Pleasure," Duo grinned at Ami, nudging Heero over. "Michelle
and I are going to go talk. I hope you two can get to know each
other better."

Michelle watched the exchange and smiled as she started away
with Duo. "Text me if you need me Aims." she grinned, looking to
Heero and then back to Ami with a wink.
Heero glared at Duo as though he were wishing him to not leave
them. "Duo..." he grumbled and then sighed and sat back down.

As Duo and Michelle walked away, Ami took a big drink of her
wine. "It's okay," she said, speaking to Heero without looking
at him. "You don't have to stay or talk or anything."
Duo licked his lips as he took Michelle into a side room and sat
down with her. "I've been impatient for today," he confessed
with a little grin.

He grunted and then sighed. "It's not that I don't want to be
here..." he mumbled. "Duo just has this way of dragging me along
blindly. He's done it for as long as I can remember." He took a
drink and turned to her. "I'll stay and get to know you, if
you'll give me the same chance. As long as you don't expect me
to take you home tonight. Many of his hookups do..."
Michelle looked surprised. "Really? But why?"

Ami looked back at him, tucking hair behind her ear. "I don't
expect much of anything when Michelle does this," she replied.
"But let's talk."
He nodded, moving hair out of her eyes. "I've wanted to see
you."

Heero chuckled lightly. "Does she do this often then?" he asked,
taking another drink.
"Aww, I have to say the same though. I begged Ami to come with
me tonight just so I didn't have to come alone though." She
blushed as he touched her and smiled at him.

"Yeah, she either doesn't want to meet the guys alone or she
thinks I need to find someone," she sighed, taking another
drink.
"That's alright," he chuckled. "I hope she and my friend get
along. He could use someone in his life."

"Well do you?" he asked, raising a brow. "Duo apparently thinks
the same of me, but I am not one to easily give in. He was
practically begging me to behave tonight cause I'm already
drunk." He laughed.
"I'm sure they are. Ami can be a little reluctant to meet new
people but she always atleast tries for my sake. She knows I'll
have her report back at the end of the night." She chuckled a
bit.

laughed, leaning against the bar. "She means well though..."
"What if you'll be too busy for her to report back?" he rose a
brow.
