       An Elegant Romance
       By: rclemens86 Date: December 20, 2015, 3:49 pm
       ---------------------------------------------------------
A woman of medium height, loose curly bleach blonde hair, and
emerald green eyes. Her slender frame holstered a messenger bag
across her torso and was dressed of yoga pants and a running
tee. She waited at the corner for the crosswalk sign to 'okay'
her traverse across the street. She pulled her bag to her
tightly and walked through the crosswalk lines as the white
'walk' sign appeared. Once she hit the other side, she bit her
bottom lip and ran her fingers through her hair. Her thoughts
had been everywhere this week, unable to fully comprehend most
of what was happening around her.
Last week, she walked into a simple coffee shop, on her way to
work, she needed her morning cup to completely function. She
grabbed for a bagel from the bin as well, only to bump into
       another hand in the bin.
"Sorry...go ahead." a casual warming voice told her and then the
hand was removed. She chuckled slightly and grabbed her bagel
then looked up at the source of the voice. She was struck stiff
as she met a pair of piercing diamond blue eyes. "Th-thank
you..." she stammered and quickly turned her head forward.
"No problem." She heard him reply.
She continued her visit, getting her coffee, and some cream
cheese. She sat down at one of the only tables open in the busy
shop. Just as she finished spreading cream cheese over her
bagel, a second cup of coffee was set down across the table in
front of her. "Got any room for a stranger here?" that same
voice asked. Her cheeks turned a bright red as she kept her face
towards the table and her food.
"Uh...y-yeah. G-go ahead, I'm not going to be long anyway." She
took a bite of her bagel and sipped her coffee, all while
       looking out the window.
"Thanks." She could hear the grin in his voice as he sat down
and it felt like he was staring right at her. "You know...I
won't bite." He laughed a little a few moments later. She looked
up to him with a grin, her cheeks still flushed.
       "I'm sorry, I've just...never met...I don't meet random good
looking strangers very often." She practically blurted these
words out and as soon as she heard them, she wanted to take them
back and change her words. He laughed again though and sipped
       his own coffee.
"You're a beautiful woman, you shouldn't be ashamed of meeting a
handsome man." He took a bit of a jelly covered bagel and wiped
       his lips on a napkin.

She looked up at him, feeling a little better about having
bumped into him. Her blush was strong as ever though. As she
looked at him, she carefully memorized his face, taking in the
       small features.
"What's your name?" he asked, curling his fingers around his
coffee cup. She stopped studying his features and met his eyes,
licking her bottom lip and pulling it into her mouth, nipping on
       it lightly.
"Sophia." she responded quietly and nibbled on her bagel.
"That's a beautiful name. My grandmother's name was Sophia. I'm
Josh." He carefully put his hand across the table top, making a
more formal greeting with her. She stared at it for a second
before a look of surprise covered her brow.
"Oh, I'm sorry." She took his hand in hers, his warmth invading
the chill of her hand. "It's nice to meet you." She swallowed
hard and gently pulled her hand back after he shook her hand in
       his.
"Are you on your way somewhere from here?" he asked her over the
rim of his cup as he put it to his lips. She looked at him,
       watched him for a moment.
"I uh...no..." she spoke. "No, I mean, yes! I have to go to work
after this." Suddenly, as though an alarm went off in her head.
She looked to her watch. D*mn internal alarms. She still have
twenty minutes before she had to leave. She cleared her throat
and continued eating her bagel and drinking her coffee.
They spoke for the remaining time, learning little bits about
each other while they could. He talked about his work in
advertising, and questioned her work as a nurse at the hospital.
They made some jokes about work, talked about it's ups and
downs. They talked a little about their outside of work lives.
As that part of the conversation got good, she looked to her
clock and realized she was five minutes late. Knowing she had
five minutes to get to work, she quickly jumped up from the
table. As she said her goodbyes, Josh stood up and stopped her
briefly. He placed his hand on her wrist. " I hope I can run
into you like this again." He smiled and turned from her path.
She rushed out quickly, taking one last glance back to him on
the way out the door. Then she was off to work.

Sophia started jogging down the street, still thinking back on
the events of last week, meeting Josh. She stared ahead as she
jogged, and thought of the way his eyes were like diamonds. She
remembered his thick wavy brown hair, not long but not too short
either. Amidst this thinking, she saw her fingers comb through
his locks. She bit her lip again and slowed her jogging to a
quickened pace of walking. Her apartment was the next building
over and all she could think about was how much she wanted to go
back across town to the cafe and see if he was there. She hadn't
heard from him since they met, she wondered if he even wondered
       about her.
She got to her apartment, taking a flight of stairs up to her
door. She unlocked the door and threw her things down on the
table inside. She walked to her kitchenette and made herself a
sandwich and grabbed a cup of yogurt from the fridge. As she
walked back to the table, she pushed her bag to the other side
to make room to sit. After a few moments, her bag slid off the
table, landing with a loud clattering as everything fell out
onto the floor. "Sh*t!" she grumbled and got up.
She started putting things back in her bag, taking this time to
see what was still in there. She had barely opened the thing in
over a month, never really needing anything from it. She found,
inside, and small napkin folded up with the logo of the coffee
shop on it. She looked at it strangely and opened it up only to
read Josh's name and phone number on it. She gasped and grinned.
He must have slipped it in her bag when he stopped her that
       morning on the way out.
As she dialed his number a few minutes later, she listened to
the other end and got a voicemail box. She hesitated in leaving
a message but nonetheless got her name and number entered in
there so he could call her back when he wasn't busy.

       ---------------------------------------------------------
After she hung up the phone and cleaned up her bag, Sophia
started cleaning house. She had about a week's worth of
household build up. Her roommate was never home, therefore would
never clean up. And since the middle of last week, she'd been on
call at the hospital with seasonal illnesses. Her schedule was
pretty much, work, sleep, get called in, sleep, etc. She finally
had the weekend off and was dreading the cleaning mess that
       needed to be done.
It took a couple of hours, but when the last bit of trash and
vacuuming had been finished, and everything had been dusted, she
sat down on the couch and took a deep breath.
The next thing she knew, she was being awoken by the sound of
Journey blaring from her phone. She stood up and ran into the
coffee table, that's when she realized she couldn't see. It was
darker than night in her apartment. How long had she slept?
Quickly, she raced to her phone and answered it, out of breath.
"H-hello!" The laugh at the other end of the phone was truly
something she had hoped to hear.
"I hope I haven't interrupted anything." His grin was obvious
       through his voice.
"No, not at all. I just...I had a bit of an accident when I got
up to answer. How are you?" she asked, sitting down at the table
and looking to the red mark on her shin and rubbed it to ease
       the pain.
"I'm alright. How about you? I hope you didn't hurt yourself to
get to my call. You don't need a doctor do you?" he asked, a coy
sound to his voice. She laughed awkwardly and shook her head.
       "No, I'm fine."
"Good. So...what can I do for you?" he asked. "We met a week
ago, I assume you either just now found my number, or you have
just been sitting around blushing at it, debating to call me."
Sophia stopped rubbing her leg and sat up straight, hanging her
       head back on the chair.
"I actually...I just found your number. I had no idea you stuck
it in there." She started playing with her hair while staring up
at the ceiling, picturing his face in the rigid points of the
       blotted paint.
"I assumed, being a woman, you dug through your purse every five
minutes so you wouldn't have missed it."
"Well, that is a common misconception. Not 'all' women do these
things." She chorted. "You should not categorize women as purse
digging people with no time on their hands." She imagined
standing in front of him and sticking her tongue out at him. Of
course, then she pictured him with his own tongue searching the
cavity of her mouth. Quickly, she recovered from that. "I
actually called to find out if you were available...tonight...or
       any night."
"Are you asking me out? We've only met once, for twenty seven
minutes." She paused as she heard this.
"You counted?" She heard him laugh on the other end.
"You caught me. I see a pretty woman and I tend to make note of
the time, mostly because she catches me looking so I go straight
for a clock." She giggled. "Oh that is a beautiful sound. You
know, I might be available tonight. I'd like to find out if
there are any other things that are just as beautiful about
you." She raised a brow, her mind automatically climbing for the
       gutters. She shook it off.
       "Of course!" she answered.

After she primped and polished, she headed out for a little club
downtown they had agreed to meet at. She stepped through the
doorway and scanned the room for a familiar face. When she
didn't see one, she thought maybe she was a little early so she
headed for the bar and ordered a glass of white wine and took a
seat at the bar stool. As she sat drinking from her wine goblet,
she tapped her foot to the music that was playing. Before long,
she felt a hand on her shoulder. She turned at smiled to see the
familiar face she was looking for.
"Josh, I was almost worried you wouldn't show." she lied,
smiling. He reacted with a smirk.
"I actually thought you wouldn't show. I've been here for about
twenty minutes waiting to see if you'd stood me up." She gave
him a confused look and turned her stool around to face him.
"Don't worry about it." He told her, waving his hand about. He
offered it to her to help her up off the stool and she willingly
       gave it to him.
He walked her across the room to a table he had gotten just for
them, further from the stage to take away some of the drowning
sound of the music, but good enough position to see the band
       play.
For the first fifteen minutes they mostly just talked, asking
more questions from when they talk last week, or adding in more
information about the other. After a few drinks, Sophia got up
and started dancing and before long, she pulled Josh to his feet
and brought him out the the floor with her. For a time, she was
just being herself, and as the time went on, they moved closer
together. By the time the night started to wind down, his hands
were upon her hips, holding her close to him. Her arms wrapped
       around his neck, foreheads touching.
Last call was announced and Sophia knew the night was about to
be over. Like Cinderella, there was a time limit, but there was
no pumpkin here, no rats turned horses, no lizards turned
footmen. Just a decision to ask if she could go back to his
place with him. But maybe that was too forward. They decided to
start leaving, and she stood up, slinging her bag over her
shoulder. He held her elbow as they walked out and he stopped
her before she started walking away. "Would you...would you care
to come back to my place for a bite?" he asked. She paused and
then looked up at him. She wondered what time it was, but...well
       who the he*l really cared?
"I'd like that." she nodded, smiling. He grinned and led her to
       his car.

When they pulled up to his apartment building, she looked up at
the tall tower. "Wow, this is where you live?" she asked,
hearing him get out of the car and seeing him walk to her door
out the corner of her eye.
"This is it. It's not much, really. Just a place to lay my head
at night." He smiled, and took her hand in his, closing the door
behind her as she stepped out.
The ride up the elevator was long, but the whole time, he stood
across the metal box from her and watched her with a grin on his
face. "I can't get over your smell." he groaned, obviously very
attracted to whatever he was smelling. She couldn't recall
putting on any perfume at home. Maybe he was smelling the wine?
She smiled up at him and moved closer.
"And what is it that you smell?" she asked, her head was still a
little foggy from the drinks she'd had, but standing in this
elevator with him, was giving her a closeness to him that made
her see a side of him that she was seeming to come on to. As she
approached him, she reached out and touched his torso. The white
button up he wore being the only thing between his skin and her
fingers. She watched in his eyes, the exhilaration he was
starting to feel. She moved in even tighter to him and then felt
his hands move to her hips. She bit her bottom lip and his
eyebrow quirked up. Suddenly, he was leaning into her and he
pressed his lips, hard, to hers. She gave in, giving a moan as
their lips touched. His hands pulled her in tight to his hips.
He definitely seemed excited about this. She could feel it on
her pelvis where he was filling out and growing rather hard for
her. They kissed for a time before the elevator let out a chime
and the doors opened to his floor. He pulled away, licking his
lips and eagerly took her hand, pulling her gently with him.
As they entered his apartment, he took her purse and dropped it
on the table at the front door. "Come on..." he whispered,
hoarsely and took both of her hands in his. They walked to the
living room area, a large room filled with a modern style of
furniture, some bookshelves and a rather large entertainment
system. Behind the couch was an entire wall filled with floor to
ceiling windows, most of them half covered with french blinds,
but a few of them wide open to the city landscape outside.
He sat down on the couch and pulled her on top of him. She put
her knees to either side of him and immediately went back down
to his lips. He welcomed the kiss and held onto her hips once
more, running his fingers up and down her sides. With one slick
movement, he even managed to push her shirt up, placing his
       fingers to her bare skin.

An immense heat came over her, and her body started moving on
top of him. Her hips ground intohis, creating a friction between
them that was turning her body to jelly. His hands started to
move her on top of him, and she could hear, between the
movements, his breathing was becoming rough. Almost a panting.
She moved her hands, quick to find the button of his jeans. She
nearly tore them wide as she found him, like a solid rock hard
battering ram lodged in the crevice of his jeans. She pulled
back and dropped to her knees on the floor in front of him. She
handled him for only a moment, circling her palm around his
shaft. She looked up at him, seeing a bit of surprise in his
face, and a tiny bit of fear. And then...she circled her lips
around his head, staring up at him, meeting his eyes either
hers. She watched him bite his lips and suck in a heaving breath
       of air through his nose.
As she watched him, she circled her tongue around the inside of
her mouth, and then took him into her mouth, and backed out,
then repeating. As she did this, she watched him, his head
tilted back, heavy breathing, quiet moans escaping him. He had
planted a hand firmly into her hair, holding her locks like
reigns of a horse. She could hear as he started becoming more
and more aroused by her mouth, his breathing started breaking
apart and he started moaning a bit louder. She moved faster,
slipping her tongue over the top of him every time she met the
       top of his head.
Faster, faster, she moved, answering the call of his moans, and
timing herself with the panting of his breath. She never stopped
looking at him, watching and knowing the exact point when she
saw the first bead of sweat start on his brow. She started to
taste him in her mouth, and she started removing her jeans. She
waited for the right moment, when his breath was escaping him
the fastest, to evacuate him from her mouth. She then crawled
back onto his lap, putting her hands to the sides of his head,
       and kissed him.

She felt his hands move around her, and then she felt the tip of
his head caress her lower lips. She bit her lip and moved her
hips down on him, feeling him enter her. Her voice broke out,
groaning to feel him penetrating her. "Oh God..." he grunted,
and once he was fully within her, he started bucking his hips,
slowly at first and then speeding up. Her fingers moved into the
lining of his hair. She pulled at his hairs, and moved with the
movements of his hips. As he thrust into her, she pushed back
       against him with her hips.
Those little sweat beads were more prominent after a few
moments, and she too started feeling them. She unbuttoned his
shirt and threw it open to the sides. She met her lips to the
crook of his neck and with ragged breaths, she kissed him and
then took pulls at his skin. Faster, he moved, and faster still
when she started whimpering into his neck against his skin. When
he moved faster still, she let out a growl that caused him to
throw her off to his side, onto the couch and he put himself
atop of her. He braced himself on the arm of the couch and
thrust heavily against her, their bodies banging together and
her body jerking upward at his every thrust. She anchored
herself on the back of the couch with her foot and move her
hands to his jeans, moving them downward and squeezing his
cheeks in her hands as she pulled him a bit down on her.
He breathing became rough, and her's whimpering and moaning with
each rapid movement. But it wasn't long before his heavy thrusts
became more sensual again. He let her lips and kissed her
softly, and ran a hand through her hair. She wrapped her legs
around his hips, still biting her lip and arching her back into
him. She could feel herself coming to a peak, her breathing
       became unstable.
She braced her arms around him and pulled him tightly to her, as
she released and let out a cry. This had apparently caused him
to topple over as well as she heard him moaning into her ear and
then nipped at her ear lobe. The next few moments were a blur as
he brought her out of her orgasmic state. Once she had finished
and realized what was happening, his lips were tracing lines
over her lean torso, his fingers running up and down her legs.
He looked up to her and moved upwards toward her lips. "This was
the most fun I've had in years." he chuckled and kissed her once
       more.
