Without missing a beat, she stood on her toes and pressed her
lips to his in a deep kiss. Rocking back on her heels she
grinned, "Thanks!" and started to turn.

"Oh no you don't." he demanded, pulling her arm and spinning her
back around to him. He wrapped both of his arms around her torso
and pressed his lips against hers again, this time allowing some
chance to enjoy the moment.

Their mouths separated and he looked into her eyes. "I-uh..." he

She licked her lips slowly, disappointed that the kiss had been
almost as brief as the last. "I'm not..." she said huskily,
pulling him back into her.

He groaned slightly, moving her backwards slowly against the
light post that stood at the curb of the street. He moved a hand
into her hair, cupping the side of her head and gently clutching
a handful of hair.

and tilted her face up into his, parting her lips to deepen the
kiss as he fisted her hair.
