Her face lit up. "Really?" she asked, trying not to be too

She followed him and looked at the order board. "I'll take a
rocky road cone." she spoke, bumping into his arm as she brushed
a strand of hair out of her eyes.

As he too ordered his cone, Suki was coming back from a run
around the neighborhood. She slowed down as she approached her
house, taking her earbuds out and catching her breath.

"Have you seen my sister?" he asked, "she practically jumped out
of the car when we got home, and she's been gone for some time.
Sugii is harping on me to get her back home." He stopped a few
feet away from her and his eyes scanned over her quickly without
really realizing so.
