"I don't know, most of them are just too immature for me, I
think. And the rest are too snooty. Besides, no one has really
hit that certain string for me. You know?" She smiled briefly.
"I guess...you're the only guy I've ever known who actually
seems to return any interest in me too." She looked away from
him as she spoke, leaning against the counter waiting for the
cashier to finish.

She walked behind him quietly and then quickly moved up next to
him. "U-unless I'm wrong...?" she asked meekly, slightly turning
her gaze up at him. "You said you don't have a girlfriend or
anything. And I mean...you were the one who called on me." Her
gaze went back to the checkered tile that was the floor of the
mall.

She raised a brow in confusion and sighed slightly, quietly. She
thought about how this was starting to become a little
confusing. Did he really like her or was it a front?

Throwing the bags in the back, he climbed into the driver seat

She looked over, the blush gone in her cheeks. "I guess I could
use a little bite to eat." she murmured. "How about an ice
cream?"

She was kind of disappointed that they couldn't spend more time
together. It was kind of fun for her to get out of the house and
spend time away from her siblings. "Oh...ok. Well, can we do
this again soon?" she asked, just hoping to figure out what
exactly 'this' was.
