A sharp tingle ran straight through her body and caused her to
quickly turn from him. "I'm sorry?" she asked, looking back at
him out of the corner of her eye. Really, it was an interesting
thought, but she hardly knew him yet. "A little early for that,
isn't it?"

"A long time? How old are you?" she asked, suddenly feeling like
even more of a child in his eyes. She figured she was losing any
ground to stand on at getting this guy to like her at all.

"It doesn't matter... I lost it when I was fourteen. That's just
how I was and still am, doesn't mean you're any less of an adult
or whatever. Some people don't have sex until they get married,
that's their choice," he sighed, wanting to apologize for being
an ass but not really understanding why.

She nodded. "You're right. It's our own choice I suppose. I've
never really cared about waiting. I just don't care for any of
the boys at school. They're all too weird in my eyes." She
shrugged.
