Duo smiled at her as he drove out of the main city towards the
country area. "Kind of?" He offered. "Yes and no. It just
depends really... but I'll protect you."
The owner nodded and went back into the kitchen to give the
cooks her order, as well as give Heero some time in the
bathroom. Ami sat silently in her booth, looking at her phone
blankly.

When Heero finished in the restroom, he stepped back out and
started walking towards the scent of the woman he'd passed by.
He stopped at her table side and looked down on her. "Ma'am?" he
asked, tapping his first finger on the table next to her.
Michelle looked around as he drove. "Okay, I'll trust you." she
smiled. "How do you think Heero will react to Ami's news?"

He took a deep breath and sighed. "No clue. He's always been the
closed-off professional type..." He took a turn down a dirt
road.
"Yes?" Ami replied tiredly, still looking at her phone.

Michelle sighed and looked out at the scenery, thoughtfully.
"Please come with me, I've a message for you." He spoke as he
realized it was, in fact, Ami. "From Heero."

Duo pulled up a small, snug looking cottage, and cut the
engine. He got out andwent over to open her door.
Ami looked up quickly, immediately on edge. No one should know
who she was. "I beg your pardon?"

"This place is cute." Michelle smiled as he opened her door and
she stepped out. She took his hand and walked inside with him.
"Please, ma'am. Heero wanted me personally to deliver a message
to you." He spoke in a husky voice so he could keep her from
knowing who he was.

He laughed as he took her in and sat down with her. "Thanks.
It's one of our bug out locations. Completely secure," he smiled
at her then his expression turned serious and he pulled her to
him tightly. "Micki.." he breathed into her hair, closing his
eyes.

She listened to him a moment and smiled as he pulled her in.
"Duo...I love you too..." she whispered, a response to his
letter to her.

He swallowed hard and held her to him tighter. "Thank god," he
half-laughed and pressed a kiss to her neck. "I was afraid I was
being too forward."
Ami's eyes widened as the man mentioned Heero. "A-all right..."
she mumbled, getting out of the booth as quick as possible.

She grinned and wrapped her arms around him, then turned her
body into him, putting herself in his lap. She moved her hands
across his braid and removed the hair tie, undoing his braid.
Heero took her hand in his and pulled her into the men's
restroom, rather quickly so she couldn't protest. Knowing no one
else was in there, he locked the door from the inside and tore
of his disguise. "Ami..." he groaned and pulled her into him.
She literally would have had no time to respond to any of his
actions, he'd done them so quickly. "If I had known you'd be
here..." he grumbled, kissing her.
