"Slainte," Ami clinked her glass to Michelle's in affirmation
and then she drank. As the months passed, the two girls remained
together, and Ami soon become very aware she was with child.
Missed periods were nothing new to her, but when her belly
firmed and began to swell, she knew something was "wrong". In
this time, the pilots fought many battles and were on their way
to outer space. However, Ami and Michelle would soon run into
the other pilots.

Michelle found herself a job, filing paperwork for the same
people Duo works with. She hadn't quite planned it out, but
figured she would take it. It was a job however, and it would
put her closer to the information she wanted about the pilots.
She found herself a small apartment in the nearby area and each
day after work she would get back home and snuggle into a thick
fleece blanket. Her and Ami met every morning over a warm drink
and some breakfast. She had been noticing something about her
for a short time now.

Michelle jumped as the knocking started, the shirt she held in
her hands, working on folding clothes, dropped into the basket
on the floor. She stood up slowly and muted the television. "Who
is it?" she called, as she walked over to the door and stopped
in front of it waiting for the response.

"My name is Trowa. Trowa Barton." the voice came through the
door calmly. On the other side stood a young man with light
brown hair that fell into one of his green eyes. He wore jeans,
a dark blue turtleneck, and boots.

She raised a brow and then opened the door. "Hello Trowa." she
knew he was one of the other pilots. "What can I do for you?"

He held up an envelope, she could smell his cologne. "I have a
letter from Duo."

She smiled and took the envelope. "Is everything okay?" she
asked him, raising a brow. She didn't pay much mind to his
scent. She thought he was rather handsome, but he'd had her
heart set on Duo for so long.

He nodded once. "Everything is fine. He just can't make it here
before he goes to outer space," he replied.

She looked at him for another moment, paused in her reaction.
"Oh..." she sighed, sadly. "Okay, well...thanks Trowa." She
began to close the door and turn away, opening the letter.
