Duo watched her then got up as well. He slipped out of bed and
began to dress himself; wouldn't ya know it, he slept nude.
"The New Edwards Base... w-when it was destroyed," her voice was
thick as she struggled to keep her composure.

Michelle blushed as he got out of bed. She put her hand to the
side of her face and turned, shielding her eyes from his bare
skin. "Oh my..." she spoke, startled by this.
Heero looked at her for only a moment before he dropped his face
into his hands, his elbows on his knees. "The detonation..." he
murmured, barely audibly.

Duo laughed and threw his braid over his shoulder. "Sorry..."
Ami lay there a moment before sitting up and leaning towards
him. "Heero.. that was... that was you, wasn't it?" she asked
quietly.

around, he was right there.
Many feelings washed over Ami then; anger, grief, shock...
Instead of speaking or lashing out at him, she simply wrapped
her arms around his shoulders and pulled him close.
