She led him away from the car and into a grass lawn nearby where
she stopped and waited for him, a smirk on her face.

He walked over to her and ruffled his hair a bit. "What?" he

She knelt down and pulled him down with her. "Lets watch some
stars, what'd'ya say?" she grinned.

Duo laughed as he was brought down beside her, and wrapped an
arm around her shoulders. "Okay."

The two laid there for hours, sharing stories of their lives.
After some time, Michelle started to fall asleep so they both
moved to Duo's quarters for the night.
By morning, Michelle awoke and looked around. She'd completely
forgotten she'd been here. She looked to her side, seeing Duo
curled up into her, his long braid draped over the side of the
bed. She grinned and watched him sleep for a few moments. Truly,
he was more beautiful in person than anything she'd imagined.
Heero awoke hours before and had showered and redressed in clean
clothes. He returned to the chair at Ami's side and sat quietly.

Duo yawned and pulled her closer, snuggling against her. "Mmm,
you're warm..."
Ami whimpered softly in her sleep and her lashes grew wet with
tears.

Michelle giggled softly and curled around him as well.
Heero sat up, noticing her reaction. He slipped onto the bed
next to her. His hand landed on her shoulder softly and he
gently squeezed her arm.

Duo opened an eye sleepily and smiled. "Good morning beautiful,"
he greeted.
Ami made a face of pain then slowly opened her eyes and looked
into his eyes. "Heero..." she whispered, aware of how close they
suddenly were.
