He got up quickly and went to her side. "Ami, let me help
you..." he told her, putting a hand on her waist.

He sighed and let her go, stepping back and running his hand
through his hair and down the side of his neck to his shoulder,
curling his head around his hand. He took a deep breath.
"She was pregnant...she lost the baby at 12 weeks..." He didn't
bow out, or drop his head. He looked her straight in the eye,
confronting her honestly.

She didn't cry. She didn't slap him. Hell, she didn't even look
angry or upset. If there was any emotion she'd never shown him,
it was disappointment. And it was written all over her face. All
she did was shake her head and go into the bathroom, shutting
the door quietly. Not even slamming it.

He knew the look all too well. He'd seen it on her face when the
kids did something wrong. He sighed and sat down on the edge of
the bed, running his hand through his thick hair.

Ami started the water, but opted for a quick shower instead of
the bath she had previously wanted. She hopped in and washed her
body; with no hair, she could easily take five minute showers.
Once she rinsed, she came out and pulled on her robe, coming
out. She ignored her husband sitting on the bed and went into
the closet to dress.

He hated being ignored. It was the most damaging thing she ever
did to him.
Quietly, he got up and walked over to her at the closet, he put
his hands on her hips and moved as close to her as he could,
gently placing a kiss upon her neck.

Ami pulled her pants up just as he kissed her neck. She shrugged
him of and turned away to grab a tee shirt. How could he? she
thought bitterly. Here she was, up front with him about Quatre
the moment she had contact with him... only to find out that
he'd not only screwed Relena, he'd knocked her up. And had kept
it a secret.

"I don't know," she said, looking at him irritated now. "I was
honest with you.. and then this? Seriously? I just... I can't.
All the constant 'It's nothing Ami, it's just a business
relationship Ami' only come to find out you F*CKED her and
knocked her up! I just... I can't even look at you right now."
She started out of the closet, holding her stomach with a
grimace as the cramps started up again.
