"Me too. I love you Ami." he smiled through his voice. He then
hung up the phone and took in a deep breath. Tears started to
form in his eyes as he quickly walked towards to bridge to get
to the shuttle dock.

Hours later, Heero stepped off the shuttle as it landed as port
on L1. He took in the recycled air of the colony and reminisced
in his head of the last time he had been here. He walked out of
the vestibule and looked around for Ami.

Ami chewed on her lip nervously as she looked through the small
crowd until she spotted Heero's tousled dark hair. She quickly
ran to him and threw her arms around him tightly as she buried
her face in his neck. "Heero..."

He spotted her running at him and wrapped his arms around her
waist, lifting her, and then spun her around. "Hello,
Beautiful." he murmured into her ear as he set her back down on
her feet.

She lifted her face to gaze at him as tears sprang up in her

she whispered softly.

He curled his arms around her tightly and breathed in the scent
of her hair. "I've missed you as well." he whispered and kissed
her hair.

kissed her forehead.

She sighed and nodded. "Come on, I've taken out a hotel room for
the night." She took his hand and started walking to the car.
