"Ok. See you soon." she told her, and then hung up the phone.
She sat up fully from the couch and stretched. How had their
lives become like this? Had they all walked such a path and
brought themselves to this crossroads? Always being in love with
the men they had but never actually being able to fully love
them. It was a living hell, and it had broken too much for them
both. She sighed and stared at the floor a moment. She stood and
quietly walked into the kids' rooms, she began packing some of
their clothes for Ami's arrival.

Quatre. Ami's heart clenched tightly in her chest and suddenly
she was finding it somewhat difficult to breathe. She pulled
over and took a slow, deep breath. "Quatre..." she mumbled. "How
much do you know about what's happened?"
