She gasped. "Ami...really? Oh dear..." she was most speechless.
The thought that her best friend could murder someone was
extremely hard to take in.

Ami looked at her then stood up and went to grab a glass of
wine, talking to her from the kitchen. "Why are you even here...
I mean, no offense, but you kinda dropped off the face of the
earth. Didn't even take my calls."

Michelle paused. "Im sorry Ami. Mostly because I havent been on
Earth. Trowa and I were up in the colony for some time. Ive been
trying to work things out and get on the right track with life.
Its been hectic on my end. And now I see its worse on yours..."
she frowned and slouched against the nearest wall.

She chuckled as her friend drank straight from the bottle
itself. "Oh come on Ami...you can't be surprised. It hasn't been
too long since the affair happened. Things were bound to jump up
again and revive a burned out flame. But this time things were
different. It was just me and him talking about what to do. I
decided though that if my time with Duo is going to be over, it
needs to be because he and I really are done and not because
someone else jumps into the picture."
