with her now. You heal up." he spoke a bit sternly and walked
away closing the door behind him.

Ami rolled over and curled up on her side, keeping her eyes
clenched shut tightly. She was trying to force herself to sleep.
Lori was curled up in Trunks' arms, uncharacteristically quiet.
Her head was resting against his chest and she looked worried,
sad even

Heero awoke in a daze. He'd not remembered a single thing that
had gone on. When he awoke though, he heard sirens and seen
water sprays over the hill putting out a huge fire. He had
gotten thrown from the explosion into the woods that surrounded
the Darlian estate. Heero realized where he was and quickly got
up. He could feel blood covering his face, and upper chest. He
looked around and then started running through the trees back
towards town. He snuck through the streets and back to his
gundam's shelter. When he got there and found Wing Zero was
missing, he knew exactly what had happened to him. He got into
his car, still parked there, and drove back home. The blood
still flooding over his face, and a throbbing pain beginning in
his leg. By the time he got home, that's when he realized his
leg was completely torn open and he was practically walking on a
broken leg. He went inside, now limping more than he ever was
and went straight to the basement. He pulled out a kit to
bandage himself and put his broken leg back in order. Over the
next hour, he pumped adrenaline and morphine into his system
just to keep from screaming his pain and be rid of it completely
until he could make his way back upstairs.
Finally, he marched upstairs, and went straight in to shower. If
he had to swallow pride and see a doctor. He wanted to make it
look like he just simply fell and that he wasn't the person who
killed an honored person of society and burned down her mansion

All the while, Junior had fallen asleep on his homework. He
hadn't even heard his father come in, let alone noticed the
state he was in.
Goku was pacing nervously. He'd heard an explosion, and tried to
contact Ami, but she wasn't answering him. He was half-tempted
to call Michelle, but knew she was gonna call him about DJ.

Heero finally got out of the shower. The sky was nearly black
outside, it must have been late late evening by now. He pulled
on a pair of white shorts and a sky blue tank top and
walked...limped out to the living room. He found his son fast
asleep with all of his homework piled up. He knelt down on his
good leg and put his hand on his shoulder. "J....wake up." he
murmured, shaking his arm a bit. "Get to bed."
Vegeta groaned as he walked out to the living room and picked up
the phone. He dialed Goku's number to let him know where Ami was
so he wouldn't worry. He figured he was expecting her.

Junior looked up sleepily, locks of hair falling into his eyes.
"Dad?..." he mumbled, then sniffled and rubbed his eyes.
"Okay..I love you.." he yawned, and started to shuffle upstairs
to his bedroom.
"Vegeta??" Goku answered, speaking so fast one could barely
understand him. "Have you seen Ami? Do you know if she's okay?
What was that big explosion?"

Heero smiled slightly and watched his son leave the room. "love
you too..." he whispered. Heero sat down to relax, propping his
leg up on some pillows and sat in silence. He remembered
everything that had happened in this room earlier and then he
remember what else he saw. Quickly he jumped from the the couch
and moved to the reclining chair. He yawned and stretched back,
tears trying to form in his eyes, but not showing through. "I
love you Ami..." he whispered as he dozed off.
"Shut it Kakarot!" he growled. "I"m with Ami. The explosion...I
really am not sure right now, watch the news or something. But
Ami and Lori came crashing through my ceiling. I patched Ami up
and Lori's fine. They are going to rest here for the night and
I'll send them over in the morning."

"Oh, well all right. ChiChi is having a blast with Faith.
Wait...Junior's not there?" Goku frowned, twirling the cord of
the phone around his finger as he leaned on the counter.

Vegeta grumbled. "No, he's not here. I guess he stayed back with
his father. I'm not sure. Look, I don't want to chit chat with
you. I'm getting off this blasted thing!" he growled and slammed
the phone down.

"Aww." Goku pouted as he was quite rudely hung up on and hung up
on his side. He then went to find something to eat.
