Heero rose up quietly, his son wrapped around his waist. He
pulled away from him and turned around to him. With the two
pistols out in plain view, he tucked them into the waist of his
jeans and shoved his key in his pocket. "Then stay..." he
murmured, putting his hand on top his son's head and walking
past him. "I'll be back in an hour."

Junior looked at the guns then back up at his father and nodded
silently. He went back upstairs into the living room and pulled
out his homework then brought a snack from the kitchen and
started to entertain himself.
Ami flew past C.C. with Lori, not bothering trying to mask her
energy from anyone, and continued her way to her brother's. She
felt so empty. She wondered if she'd done the right thing...but
she knew she couldn't take it back now. Her only comfort was
that Vegeta had said those words he rarely ever said, even to
his own wife. "I love you."

Heero walked out of the house and got in his car. He sped off
with the gas to the floor and headed to a shelter where they'd
hidden Wing Zero. He abandoned his car and jumped into the
cockpit of his gundam. Starting it up with a loud whirring
sound, he took off from the shelter tearing it down. He didn't
care cause he was done with this gundam when he was finished
with her. It took him a matter of moments to reach the Darlian
estate where Relena was living these days. He landed Zero in
front of her place with a loud thundering roar and dropped the
hatch to his gundam. Releasing his straps, he walked out onto
the door and stood silently for a moment.
Relena came to the door to inspect the noise and walked outside
upon noticing who it was. "Heero!" she greeted happily. "Have
you come to ta-"
"Shut up Relena!" Heero interrupted, pulling both pistols out
and aiming them directly at her.
"Heero..." she gasped. She smirked a bit and turned slightly
folding her arms over her chest. "Well well well. I think I've
seen this before." She began but was again interrupted when a
bullet flew within an inch of her foot. She paused and looked
up. "You mean to kill me?"
"You've taken it all away from me Relena. Now it's my turn to
return the favor." He pulled back the cocking mechanism and
aimed them both at her. "You will never come between everything
I love, ever...ever...again."
"You can't kill me Heero, you never could." She grimaced,
shortly before Heero sent a bullet through her right shoulder.
She screamed and fell to her knees.
"I will do what I must to protect what I love dearly." he
sneered, his eyes turning enraged and widening. He laughed
psychotically and pulled the second trigger sending another
bullet through her opposite shoulder. He continued laughing, his
eyes filled with an anger he'd never felt and the hatred of
millions. "DIE RELENA!!" he yelled, still laughing. One last
bullet soared from his pistol and flew straight down through her
first shoulder. At that angle, that shot would kill a person
hitting their heart and main artery. He continued his maniacal
laughter and pulled his ED switched out. Dropping both pistols,
he lept from the hatch door and pulled the switch. Only a second
from hitting the ground, Wing Zero detonated into pieces, taking
out the entire estate and Relena and Heero with it.

Ami looked up quickly at the sound of an explosion, then grabbed
Lori and cradled her as a huge waved passed over them. It sent
the two of them crashing into the living area of C.C.,
incidentally, that's where the Briefs family lived. Lori started
to cry through the rubble, but Ami was knocked out and bleeding
from a small wound on her forehead.
Junior was trembling as he did his homework, tears splotching
the page. He'd seen his father's guns and knew something
terrible was going to happen. He just didn't know what. He was
scared and alone, and he was sure his mother was mad at him for
having spoken the way he did.

Vegeta was on his way down the stairs into the living room when
Ami crashed through the roof. He startled him enough to send him
tripping down the stairs again. The large man yelled as he hit
the bottom and shot up from the floor. "DAMNIT AMI!!!" he
yelled. Then he realized what happened and ran to her, picking
Lori up and dusting her off. "Lorelei! Are you alright?!" Trunks
came in at that moment and rushed over as well. He took Lori
while Vegeta went to pull Ami out. "Ami..." he spoke, tapping
her cheek. "Ami, wake up!" He lifted her up and took her to the
guest bedroom. Luckily, Bulma was out of town for a conference
this week so he'd not have to worry about her. Trunks took
Lorelei into the den to play while Vegeta tended to Ami. He
bandaged her up as good as he could, tried to stop the bleeding
and regain her consciousness.

Ami groaned and began to stir. She was disoriented at first, the
blast gave her quite the doozy and she was confused. "V-Vegeta?"
she mumbled, looking as confused as she sounded. She winced and
held a hand to her head then bolted up. "Lorelei!!"

Vegeta took hold of her shoulders and eased her back down
shushing her. "Our girl is fine." he spoke softly. "Just relax.
You took a pretty bad dive. What where you thinking?"

She swallowed the lump in her throat and sighed shakily. "W-we
were heading over to Goku's...I left Heero..." she murmured
softly, relaxing. "There was an explosion...I shielded Lori
b-but I guess it was stronger than I thought..
