Vegeta smirked as he leaned down and pulled Ami's face into his,
kissing her even more passionately than before and placing his
hand upon her cheek to keep her face against his. He groaned, "I
love you..." he told her and let her go then quickly grabbed his
clothes and walked out the doorway to the porch in which he'd
entered.
Heero's fists were balled up, turning his knuckles white. He
looked more furious than ever before in his life, yet twice as
sexy as ever too. "What the hell!!!" was all he could say at
that moment.

Ami's world spun as Vegeta kissed her, told her he loved her,
and then left. She leaned against the couch for support and
shook her head as Heero yelled. She snapped her head up to look
at him, holding a glare that not even he could compare to. "What
the hell?" she repeated in a low voice. "Did you think I
wouldn't find out?! Your credit card bill came early today!" she
stormed into the kitchen, grabbed the mail, and came back,
throwing it at his chest. She was so fueled with rage at the
moment. "I know all about your little 'honeymoon' with Relena!"
she spat, venom dripping from her voice. "What happened to 'I'll
never see her again Ami'?"

Heero glared for a moment and then she spoke about his meeting
with Relena. His hands relax, visibly and he slouched. "Ami..."
he whispered hoarsely. His eyes turned red as he looked at her.
"So you tried making it even by f**king your best friends
brother on our couch?" He spoke with a somewhat reasonable tone
rather than yelling. He ran his hand through his hair. "I made a
mistake. Relena offered me tons of support for our family if I
went with her on this stupid business trip. She stole my card
while we were gone and bought that stupid necklace!" His brows
furrowed and he turned away from her.

"I didn't try ANYTHING Heero Yuy..." she growled at him. "It
just happened...and I still can't believe you would accept that
offer! When so many times I've offered to go back to work, but
no, you were too proud to let me even do that! Oh and this
little trip you went on, you could have booked two
rooms...instead of the HONEYMOON suite." She shook her head. She
was too heart-broken and angry to let this continue. "I'm sorry
Heero, I can't do this. I can't trust you...I'm done. I want a
divorce." her voice wobbled and dropped as she spoke her last
words. She turned from him and began to dress herself silently.

He wanted to continue telling her the truth, but she wouldn't
let him when she demanded the divorce. His red eyes changed,
drowning in tears now. Quickly he dropped to his knees, punching
the floor as he landed. The hard wood under him cracked from the
hit and he hung his head, the tears dropping and and his back
arched in severe emotional pain that he's never felt. It was
like his entire body have just been shredded from the inside out
and his will had just given out. He couldn't believe this had
ever come this far. Not after everything. He let it sink in his
head now, that if killing Relena had any rewards at all, he
wanted to find out. She was the reason for all of this. She was
the one who'd taken his card from the start. 'I'll hold onto
your card, Heero. That way you don't have to worry about
speaking with anyone.' she had told him that first day. When
he'd carried her luggage in to their room, that was when he'd
found out about the suite. He knew it would come back on him.
And when she snuck out in the middle of that meeting the next
day, that's where she went to by her overly expensive necklace,
practically wiping out all of his money he'd earned.
Heero could do nothing but cry, his fists stuck to the floor,
his head hung shamefully low, and his entire body shaking from
the pain.

Ami flinched as he heard him drop and punch the floor, in tears.
It struck her deeply. She wanted to take it all back, tell him
everything would be all right, but she couldn't force herself to
undo the pain she'd caused. Because of the pain he caused her.
In the back of her mind she truly believed him, that Relena had
used his card; but still the fact remained that he hadn't told
her the entire truth. Tears ran down her cheeks and she pulled
on her tanktop finally. The kids would be coming home from
school soon. "I-I'm going to go stay with G-goku for awhile..."
she swallowed hard, her voice was raw from the yelling and the
emotion.

"Take it all, Ami..." he managed through his hidden tears and
swiping his hand across the floor. "Pick them up and take them
with you..." He glimpsed up at her, his eyes completely drenched
in his tears, tears stained his cheeks and chin, and his eyes
were bloodshot. "T-take them!" he stammered aggressively. "Just
go..." he whispered finally.

She flinched at his words, but didn't argue. She looked at him
silently, sadly, and then walked out the front door. The kids
were coming off the bus. Faith was at her brother's, ChiChi was
watching her for the afternoon. Heero Jr. and Lorelei came
running up but stopped when they saw the state their mother was
in.
"Mom...what's wrong...?" Junior started. Lori stood quietly,
taking in the situation.
"We're leaving your Dad..." Ami mumbled, reaching for them. Lori
took her hand obediently but Junior pulled away.
"Leaving? Why?" he demanded, narrowing his eyes. He looked just
like his father. And it killed Ami inside.
"B-because, your father and I are getting a divorce. He li---"
"NO!" Junior cut off angrily. "YOU can leave Dad, but I'm
staying!" he shouted. Tears were sprouting in his angry eyes,
Ami whimpered and reached for him again, but her son slapped her
hand away and ran inside.

Heero spent the next ten minutes in the same spot on the floor
and then he decided to get up. He looked around the house and
felt it's empty presence. His tears cleared up and he went to
the basement and opened a small wooden oak box with his name
etched into the lip. Inside were two magnum .45 pistols and the
key to his abandoned gundam. He suddenly started to feel the
strangeness he felt the first day he piloted Wing Zero. His
anger fueled his anger, and all of his rage boiled up. All he
could think of was Relena now. And his plans were not anything
have to do with any supposed 'love' he may have for her.

Junior ran inside and found his father almost immediately. He
hugged him tightly around his mid-section, burying his face in
the face of his back. "I'm not leaving!" he announced tearfully,
shaking as he held onto his Dad tightly.
Ami's heart sank as she watched her son run inside. Lori
squeezed her mom's hand comfortingly and the two slowly rose
into the air and began to fly towards the mountains.
