"Sure," he replied, handing her a brush and hair tie.

She took the brush and tie and started brushing through his
hair, separating it to start the braid. "You'll be careful
right?" she asked, looking up at him in the mirror.

She gave him a loving smile and looked to her work as she
finished his braid and wrapped the tie at the end. "Six months
is a long time, you're not worried about anything?" she asked,
again looking at him in the mirror as she finished.

She finished the loop of the tie as he turned around, she took
his braid with her across his shoulder. She looked him directly
in the eye and smiled slightly. "I just can't believe this is
happening now...after everything we just pulled through..." she
sighed.

"You should probably finish getting ready." she sniffled.
