She giggled and walked him back to their room, running her
fingers through his long hair.

The next morning, Heero awoke just as the sun was starting to
rise on the horizon. He rubbed his eyes and stretched.

A sharp rapping came on the door of Vegeta and Bulma's small
house on C.C. property.

Bulma answered the door, bright eyed and awake before anyone
else had been that morning. She smiled when she opened the door
and greeted the stranger.

Heero looked around and then down at Ami who was still lying
with him. He smiled slightly and wrapped his arms around her.

"I'm looking for a Mr. Vegeta." The man greeted her with a smile
in return, then got to business. He carried a brown manila
envelope.

Bulma looked at the envelope confused and nodded. "Sure..." she
turned around and yelled for him immediately. Of course, he
yelled back about her yelling at him, but within a few moments
he was coming to the door. He looked the man in the face and
raised a brow. "What is it?" he asked, sternly, noting the
envelope in his hands.

Heero smiled to see her lying there in his arms. He hated though
that he was going to have to get up and disturb her sleep.

"WHAT?!" Vegeta hollered, yanking the envelope away and tearing
it open. "Order for termination of parental rights?" He read out
loud, then snapped his head quickly over to Bulma who was
glaring at him. He looked back at the paper. "Petitioner Ami
Yuy...." he mumbled words between words. "Respondant
Vegeta...termination of right on LORELEI?!?!......sh*t...." he
grumbled, realizing he still hadn't told Bulma about Lori.
"What the hell Vegeta?!?! What does she mean, termination of
PARENTAL RIGHTS?!?!" Bulma stood fierce with her arms folded
over her chest.
"Bulma...its not..."
"What?! Not what I think?! I'm pretty sure it IS!! They can't
terminate rights on a parent who ISN'T THE CHILDS FATHER!!!!"
She stood, glaring at him. Her foot tapping on the floor.
"Ok...ok! Lorelei is my daughter..." he started but was rather
rudely interrupted when Bulma's right hook caught his jaw and
knocked him to the ground.
"How DARE you Vegeta!!!" she screamed at him and started
marching away. Vegeta scrambled to his feet and jumped in front
of her.
"Do you realize how long ago that was?!" Bulma stopped and
stared up at him.
"I don't care Vegeta!!! You lied to me! I knew you and Ami had
something going on, and you swore to me you didn't. You're not a
liar though Vegeta! So why wouldn't I believe you?" She was hot
on fire with fury and anger, Vegeta was for the first time not
even wanting to be too close to her.
"Bulma...come on."
"How many times Vegeta?!"
"What?"
"HOW MANY TIMES!!!" She threw her hands up in his face and made
fake ASL signs in his face, and mocked him with her voice.
Vegeta just stared at her.
"Once..."
"LIAR!!" she screamed in his face.
"Okay, a couple times..."
"How many?!?!" She got closer to his face and stared him down.
"How....many....times...." Vegeta sighed and slouched.
"Once a month since before Lorelei was born, up until about a
year ago..." he admitted and stared her straight in the eye.
"You make me sick...terminate rights, or you can find a new
place to live. Too bad it won't be with her, sounds like she
don't want you around." She turned her back on him and escaped
to her workshop, locking the doors on her way in. Vegeta stared
at the paper and sighed.
"My daughter...or my wife..." he debated out loud. He knew the
answer was clearly Lorelei, but Bulma was all he'd known on this
crappy little planet. "Sh*t..." he cursed and stormed off out to
the AG Chamber.

Heero put his hands on her shoulders and gently lifted her so
that he could get up from the couch. He had to start getting his
things around so he could leave. He wanted to stick around and
stay longer with Ami, but he had a job that was waiting for him
and it needed to get started. The next couple of weeks were
simply going to be training the best of a machine to prepare for
the mission at hand.

A little whimper escaped Ami's lips as she was put down onto the
couch cushions, but she didn't wake. There was however, crying
coming Junior's room.

Heero had just stood up straight when he heard his son cry. He
sighed lightly and walked upstairs to the boys' room to check on
him. "Junior, whats wrong?" he asked, quietly as he stood in the
doorway.
