Vegeta sighed. When he heard Heero's name he slouched and rolled
his eyes sitting at her kitchen table. He dropped his head on
the table and sat waiting for her conversation to be done.
"Hey Ami, I'm on my way home soon. I'm running a little late
though so it will be about fifteen more minutes." he had a smile
to his voice as he spoke to her.
Michelle sighed. "Let my talk to him about it. I don't want you
to decide something for him. It needs to be from him if he wants
to start or not. Right now."

"Fine...we'll talk when you get home," she replied, rubbing
temples. She was beginning to get a headache.
Goku sighed again. "Fine...talk to him then and let me know..."

Vegeta raised his head and stood, walking up behind Ami, and
wrapping his arms around her waist. He could sense her tension
and kissed the back of her neck.
"What's that about?!" Heero asked, sternly.
Michelle put her hand along his jawline. "Goku...my kids are all
I have anymore..." she spoke with a sadness in her eyes. "Duo
and I have fallen apart, and you're with your own family. And I
know it's no excuse, but the more time I get with my children,
the better off I am. When you start training him, I will never
see him. And if he doesn't want to go, then I won't see him, and
he'll be upset with me for making him do something he doesn't
want to."

Ami closed her eyes and leaned back against Vegeta, trying to
relax. "Heero, I don't want to talk right now. We can talk when
you get home, all right?" she growled softly, starting to get
irritated at the tone of her soon to be ex-husband's voice.
"I know Michelle..." Goku spoke quietly, sadly. "Just take into
consideration that I also rarely get to see my son...I'll let
you think on it and talk to him. Just give me an answer by
week's end..."

The line went quiet on the other end and make a click. This was
the sign that Heero had hung up. He walked away from it,
aggravated and went back to his work. A co-worker turned on the
news just as they were doing a recap on a current situation and
he paused. 'She couldn't know...' he thought, watching Relena on
the screen.
Michelle reached out for Goku's arm and pulled him to her. She
hugged him tightly and sighed. "I'm sorry Goku..."

Ami hung up the phone with a deep sigh and laid her head back
against Vegeta's shoulder. His tight embrace was already
beginning to calm her down. His lips on her neck however, was
exciting her.
Goku hugged her back just as tight. "It'll all right Michelle."
he murmured huskily. He smelled slightly of sweat, but of spice
as well.

Vegeta pulled her against him tight, kissing her neck deeply.
His hands traveled over her hips and across her stomach.
"I feel so bad for you..." she whispered. "I keep Dj all the
time and you hardly see him, and it's not like I can bring him
to you. We all know how I am welcome at your place." She sighed
and nuzzled against his neck.

Ami drew in a ragged breath and pressed back against Vegeta's
hip lightly as she tilted her neck.
"It's okay Michelle...we'll figure it out.." Goku narrowed his
eyes sadly and swayed with her. He only wished things weren't
so; him being with Chichi and then having a son he never got to
see. It was all so hard, for him and Michelle.

Quickly, he turned her around to him and met their lips
together, Vegeta pressing his body against her. He slowly
started walking into the living room, Vegeta leading her
backwards.
"Goku...I love you..." she whispered into the sleeve of his gi.
"I wish I could be with you forever..."

Ami kissed him back deeply, following his lead. She moved
against him, hungry and aching for his touch.
"I love you too..." Goku murmured hoarsely. Her words stung him,
for he wanted that too.
