       Not exactly a fishing report but a congratulatory shout out to
       Gary Peterson of the Red Stick FlyFishers for a pending fly rod
       state record crappie ( sac au lait or white perch depending on
       which side of I10 you fish ). 1.84 lbs.

       Gary gave a great presentation to the club in April on the
       catch, as well as fishing at Poverty Point State Park.  I was
       surprised to learn of the diversity of species that can be
       caught there on fly rod.
