       Grand Isle and the Hwy. 1 pier

       Has anyone fished in Grand Isle recently?  I love fishing the
       Hwy. 1 pier at night, and I'm hoping to spend more time fishing
       around Grand Isle this year.  Just curious to see if anyone's
       been down that way yet.

       It's been tough fishing with the wind kicking up the bottom.
       Last night Steve Lessard said most of the good fishing was up
       around Golden Meadow, including  most of the speckled trout
       caught during Paddlepalooza.  I usually don't fish the old
       bridge until April, when it can be really good some nights.
