Late report from 12/3

Sat at the ramp for two hours waiting for the fog to clear.
Washing down gas station biscuits with cheap 16 oz domestic
beers at 8 in the morning is not how I like to start my day but
for whatever reason it felt like a good idea at the time. Water
was low, super low, run aground low. Sacrificed a little paint
to the oyster gods and then headed for deeper water. The sun
didn't show itself until close to noon which made for a bunch of
"oh shit, there is one" moments. The redfish are jerks
sometimes. Anyone who says they aren't leader shy should have to
back up their claims with hand to hand combat. We bounced around
from beach to beach looking for willing participants. Found one
redfish willing to eat, and only one. Caught a puppy drum
slippin and took him home for dinner.
The eat was savage, the fight was long, my friend was happy. All
is well that ends well. We celebrated with a Tito's
