I completely agree with divesting. I think it’s the best thing
for black women to do. Now does it mean leave the black
community behind or don’t bother with black men all together no
but some divest twitter pages take things to far. I think the
reason some people are so against it is because you have a lot
of people who can’t talk without crossing the line. I think the
photo in the op explained it perfectly without talking down or
be disrespectful.

As a dark skin black women that’s definitely the best thing for
me plus that’s how i was taught to being with. My mother never
taught me to be out here paying for bums or defending people who
would never do the same for me. I don’t know why some women feel
like they have to constantly give what they’ve never received.

I agree with women focusing on themselves and their on
betterment. I don’t agree with this “black women should kill
their sons” stuff I’ve been seeing from some. They sound crazy
as hell and i think that’s why theirs constant attacks on divest
twitter because some of them sound like idiots.

People act like divesting is a bad thing when it isn’t. It’s not
about bashing black men or interracial dating. It’s simply about
making better choices that benefit you and not the people around
you.

dating white men? Are their not other races of men for us too

They think that because they don’t know what divesting actually
means. Several black women are divesting from black men so they
automatically think you want a white man.
