       The strength of the Convention initially came from being seen as
       different from traditional politics. It is possible that,
       paradoxically, the use and abuse of spectacle politics and
       testimonial brawls made the conventional parties more similar to

       Along with the definition of Chile as a plurinational State,
       some collective rights were recognized for indigenous
       communities and an indigenous justice system would be
       established. After the negative judgment on the constituents,
       the reason that is most repeated among those who supported the
       Rejection is plurinationality. In line with this vision, once
       the constitutional text was delivered, the two worst evaluated
       proposals, according to the Espacio Público-IPSOS survey , were
       the plurinational State and the creation of an indigenous
