Explain why the lid of a fitting cooking pot sticks to the pot
after the pot cools down after cooking?

       [spoiler]
When the lid is put on while the pot is hot (!), the air inside
is at a higher temperature. As it cools down, the air contracts,
and the water vapours also condense, so the pressure inside
decreases. It drops beyond the atmospheric pressure, so the lid
       sticks to the pot.

       :D
