Hello,
I am looking for travertine dyeing for some months. and test
several dye, acid stain, ink and so on.
I found out that I must have a solvent that penetrating into the
stone deeply and then a color that solving into the solvent very
good. I tried some solvents like acetone, isopropanol,
turpentine, hexane, and ... the best was turpentine.
one day I buy a ink that used for wood when I using it alone the
result was very very good so I try to dilute it with solvents
but all solvents that I know decrease the penetrating I do not
know the ink solvent but it smell like bitter almonds. I contact
to their company but it not exist. how could I find the kind of
color and it`s solvent???
thanks
