       Ionic radius of K+ is smaller than that of Cl- although they
       possess isoelectronic configurations. Why so?

       K+ has more protons, thus the attraction between protons and
       electrons is bigger and the size is smaller.

       Also, in case of K+ the radius decreases considerably as soon as
       the parent atom loses an electron.
