       Ionization energy of Boron is less than that of Beryllium. Why
       so?

       Beryllium has a filled s orbital. More energy is needed to split
       the electrons in it.

       Yeah, it is because of increase in nuclear charge is outweighed
       by the decrease in penetration of the 2p electron.
