Oxides problem

I thought about posting some problem and whoever wants to
attempt, may post his thinking.
Problem:
Oxide of a certain metal contains 22.55 % of oxygen by mass.
Another oxide of the same metal contains 50.48 mass % of oxygen.
Determine the unknown metal.

Hehe i get the feeling that you intentionally made this
difficult ::)....I tried the 'normal' oxides, none seems to be
working :), probably i need to get my inorganic chem textbook!

You don't need to assume for every metal and its oxides.
Calculations would help.
