1what is the product formed when actophenone reacts with
chlorine in the absence of aluminium trichloride
2 what is the product formed when propyne is passed through a
       hot iron tube at 400'C
3 what is the product formed when benzyl chloride is treated
       with sodium metal
thanks in advance for the help.
I'd be glad if someone here could put me through explaining
       these reactions

Answer for question 3 is bibenzyl. Now you can think about the
       equation of the reaction? ;)

probably reframing your post like "one of the products of the
reaction is sodium chloride, Now can you think about the
       equation of the reaction?"
would help him think of the solution himself. as a forum policy,
we do not provide direct answers to questions(please read forum
rules), except in special situations. If we must provide the
answer, we must also provide explaination of the answer. or else
you can give a simple hint.

       />+ Cl2,
they wont react. coz Cl2 doesnt have anything that can make it
become polarized to enter any Carbonyl or Phene.
the only thing i hope to become is when the ketone build
enolate, the clhorine can enter the double bond as addition.
       2.

they will make 3,5-dimethyl toluene, they react like polymer!
       FUSION!
       3.
       the third i dunno. :D

The two products have already been mentioned: bibenzyl and NaCl
