       Riddle for chemists!

A man was found dead in his apartment which had only one room.
the only door in the apartment was locked from inside, and the
man was hanging from his ceiling. There was nothing else in the
room except him and a pool of water, hence there was apparently
no way he could have climbed up to hang himself since his
ceiling is high. the question everyone was asking is how did he
die? How was he hung? is it possible he hung himself?
Lets see who gets the answer!

It is easy, the man stood on the ice cube... slowly the ice
melted and converted into water... so the man got hung while
there appeared a pool of water.
       :)

and that's the answer! turns out it looks pretty cheaper than I
       thought ;D

:D Well I just tried to relate it with chemistry and it didn't
take more than 5 seconds for the answer to come in my mind...
btw It was a nice question.

but how him to stand on the ice that larger than the pool
       itself? ???
the ice must be slippery unless he used spiked boots. how can he
       make the ice in place?
       that still a mistery

       science fiction answer ;)
the man had a tabel made of synthetic polymers that's strong
enough to stand on, these synthetic polymers are made of Oxygen
       , Hydrogen, and Nitrogen.
the polymer will dissociate into water and Nitrogen with a
half-life say of 1 hour after exposure to light.. ;D
i dont know why i wrote this, but it was pretty compiling ....
       ???

hehe...you're introducing another variable to the equa tion-
       light availability ;)
