       Burning tungsten wire

       Hi everybody,
I am in need of advices and tips from all of you. Unlike you, I
know next to nothing about chemistry, so this is why I'm writing
       to you today.
I'm a photographer who specialized in taking photos of the
burning tungsten wire in a light bulb. As you know, the tungsten
wire emits a thick white smoke when it burns. I was wondering,
are there any chemicals (that can be easily obtain and safe to
use) I could put on the wire so it add colours and/or different
kind of smoke? I tried with powders from a firework, but the
       effects are minimal.
I realize this might not be the kind of question that is usually
asked here, but any kind of held would be appreciated.
       Thank you.
