SPECTROPHOTOMETRIC ESTIMATION OF SULPHATE AND SULFIDE

       Hi,
Please i have a question how we can estimate sulphate and
sulfide formed in bacterial culture (sulphate reducing bacteria)
by simple spectrophotometric method? Even when sulfide formation
       is also there (black ppt)?

       Hi..
       How about this:

A simple, rapid, and sensitive procedure for the study of
sulfatase kinetics using nonchromogenic substrates is described.
The procedure utilizes the dye potassium rhodizonate which forms
a complex with barium ions resulting in a pink color. The extent
of reduction of the pink color in the presence of sulfate ions
       indicates the quantity of sulfate

Yep, "SPECTROPHOTOMETRIC ESTIMATION" makes me stay away from
this topic haha. Well, sorry, I've no idea either :(
